The Manual trigger fires when you click Run manually inside the workflow in the Composer. Use it to test your workflow before connecting a live trigger, or to run a one-off operation that doesn’t need to be automated.

Configuration

No setup required. Open the workflow in the Composer and click Run manually in the toolbar.

Available variables

Manual runs do not inject contact or call data automatically. If your workflow actions use variables like {phone_number} or {name}, provide test values using custom variables before running. See Variables for how to define custom variables.

Use case

You’ve built a workflow that sends a Slack notification and creates a HubSpot deal. Before connecting it to a live End of Call trigger, run it manually to confirm both actions execute and the variable values resolve correctly.
